Our Wellspring Civil Disobedience Penguin is looking for Fellow Penguins

Join the fun protest (aka "protestival") and make a difference. Great community, music, training provided on the theory and practice of peaceful protest, meet and learn from people passionate about caring for the land, sea and sky from all over the country. There are plenty of ways to take part without risking arrest - and you don't have to be a penguin! Who is Rising Tide? They are the rising tide of ordinary people, called by extraordinary times. They are a diverse movement demanding Australia honours our commitment to the goals of the Paris Climate Agreement. They are prepared to take whatever peaceful actions are within our power to defend the climate. 

Volunteers are needed to join the Wellspring Community helping ARRCC (Australian Religious Response to Climate Change) organise the prayer tent and inter faith presence over the weekend and the early morning Multi Faith Sacred Space on the beach in Newcastle. To volunteer contact wellspringcommunity2023@gmail.com.
