Invitation for all to attend this special Church Service
On Sunday 29 October at 9.30 am at Jesmond Park Uniting Church,
4 Robert Street, Jesmond, Newcastle.

The preacher with be Rev. Ruth Harvey, Iona Community Leader, minister of the Church of Scotland and Quaker.

The service will include a ‘Hallowing’ service for new Iona Community member, Helen Weavers.

Sharing in the service will be the Rev Dr Peter Oliver.

Thus service is of particular interest to Wellspring and Iona Community

members and Associates .

Hallowing is a service of celebration whereby one becomes a full member of the Iona Community. Hallowing follows two years of study and prayer. This is the first Hallowing to be held outside Scotland.
